LANGUAGE IMMERSION CAMP
The Mvskoke Language Program provides an annual language camp every summer for Mvskoke students. The camp aims to provide four days of language instruction and demonstration of cultural activities for all participants.

Applications for camp are typically released in April of the school year by being sent to the JOM coordinators or contacting the office.
REQUIREMENTS:

The student must be entering 7th through 12th grade.

Students cannot be 18 years of age before the date of camp.

Students MUST be enrolled Mvskoke citizens.

Students must have the desire to learn the Mvskoke Language in all aspects.

All students must submit a 200-word essay, typed, about the Importance of Preserving the Mvskoke Language.

CRAFTS
During the language camp, the program provides a craftsperson with the instruction of a cultural activity. In the past, students could make take-home crafts such as beading, pottery making, basket weaving, corn husk dolls, etc.
Cultural Activities

Students participate in what takes place during a Mvskoke Traditional Church night. A Mvskoke church is asked if they would be willing to provide a night of hymns for the students to hear.
